- The night before, remove the number of meatballs you plan to use and place them in the fridge to thaw. Keep the rest sealed and frozen.
- In a large skillet or saucepan, add olive oil and heat over medium. Pour in your tomato sauce and stir in Italian seasoning if using.
- Gently place thawed meatballs into the sauce. Let them simmer uncovered for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally to coat them evenly.
- Once heated through, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil. Let sit for 2 minutes before serving.
- Serve hot over pasta, rice, inside a hoagie roll, or on a pizza. These meatballs work for any meal-from cozy dinners to party sliders.
